Coca-Cola/pepsi co. bod

The Cola Wars is known as the famous rivalry between the companies known as Coca-Cola and Pepsi Co. Since the early 20th century, these beverage companies have been constantly competing with one another thus making their products improved and their influence widespread. The term “Cola Wars” largely stemmed from their events in the 1980s, characterized as aggressive marketing tactics to beat each other at most products sold in a fiscal year. With the advent of social media in the 21st century, both Coca-Cola and Pepsi Co. are tasked with finding new and innovating ways to persuade their consumers into buying their particular beverage despite intense competition from like-minded companies such as Dr. Pepper. With this in mind, delegates must act as members of both Coca-Cola and Pepsi Co. to better outwit and understand their competitors in order to have their beverage be the most successful on the market but also in social and political culture. Delegates must sit in the seats of big corporations to better comprehend how our market, government and daily life is heavily impacted by the influence and sales of major companies such as Coca-Cola and Pepsi. Co. Ranging from sustainable movements regarding plastic to increased awareness on sugar and its health impacts, both Coca-Cola and Pepsi Co. Board of Directors in the upcoming fiscal year of 2024-2025 have a lot on their plates— or better said— in their soda cans?

This is a crisis committee for single delegates. Delegates are expected to write directives, crisis notes building into an arc, and joint personal directives responding to updates in committee.
