About Hazel:

Hazel Parent (she/her) is a fourth-year English major at UF minoring in Health Disparities in Society. Currently serving as UF Model UN’s Vice President and Director of Conference Logistics, she has been heavily involved with the team since her freshman year and competed on the Florida circuit throughout high school. She has directed at both GatorMUN and SunMUN (UF’s collegiate conference), served on the SunMUN III Secretariat, and competes in conferences as a seasoned crisis delegate. Outside of Model UN, she is working towards a career in professional communication and is currently writing an honors thesis on the cultural rhetoric of protest. In her free time, she can be found indulging in Instagram brain rot, listening to loud music, and going down (too many) internet rabbit holes. She is super excited to be a part of GatorMUN XXIV and to see everyone in Gainesville!
