Take a Chance on Me: Broadway Reopening, 2021

Directed By: Kelly Rodiguez

About Kelly:

In March 2020, the lives of thousands of Broadway actors, musicians, stage crew, producers, theater owners, and countless others were changed in an instant when the Covid-19 pandemic forced the lights of Broadway off. Theater owners were scrambling to find new ways to keep their current productions on stage when it became safe to return, but most were not successful. In this specialized committee delegates will represent Broadway theater owners as they attempt to rebuild a new type of Broadway amid mask mandates and audience limits due to social distancing. Delegates will be also creating new shows to attempt to make a new generation fall in love with the theater. This committee will involve specialty mechanics and is recommended for experienced delegates. Will you take a chance on the new, and possibly improved, Broadway?
